What is Cli-Fi (Climate Fiction)?
The term 'cli-fi' was coined around 2007-2008 by writer and activist Dan Bloom and gained wide media traction after a 2013 NPR feature. Spanning literary and speculative modes, cli-fi dramatizes global warming, ecological collapse, and adaptation to make abstract climate science emotionally tangible.
