1. About. AltBook is a book-discovery service operated by Srushta Media, helping readers find books by genre, theme and vibe. It is free for readers. Editorial recommendations are opinions, not endorsements.
2. Paid services. We also offer paid services to publishers, authors and organisations, such as reader campaigns, reading programmes and group book orders. Each is provided under its own written quote or agreement, and nothing is ordered or committed until you approve it.
3. Use of the site. You may browse and share links freely. Please don't scrape the site at scale or misrepresent our content as your own.
4. Commercial relationships. Our editorial lists, guides and shortlists are never sold, and no one can pay for a place, ranking or verdict in them. We may earn affiliate commissions on "buy" links. Anything placed because someone paid for it is labelled as a paid partnership. See how we work.
5. Submissions. Materials you submit via forms are covered by these terms and our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual property. Editorial text and site design are owned by Srushta Media. Bibliographic metadata derives from open sources; cover art belongs to its rights-holders, see rights & takedown below.
7. Accuracy. We aim for accuracy and ground our content in sources, but make no warranty; prices and availability change.
8. Rights & takedown. Rights-holders can request removal or correction via our takedown form. We also process standard DMCA notices.
9. Changes. These terms may change; continued use means acceptance.
